                      This project helps the Library and its partners expand the YouMedia program to branch libraries.
                    

The Chicago Public Library Foundation is a sub-recipient of Sustainable Broadband Adoption BTOP funds. They received money to support the purchase of electronic equipment for the expansion of the innovative YOUMedia program into three branch libraries:

Richard M. Daley
Lozano Library
Thurgood Marshall Library

Federal BTOP funds were used to purchase these laptops to help middle school students in West Humboldt Park to hang out, mess around, and geek out on digital publishing.
