Hosted Web Space

The Smart Chicago Collaborative has limited space on an Amazon Web Services account and a Heroku account for developers to host projects that make lives better in Chicago through technology. We’re interested in all sorts of innovation, so if you’re interested, complete the form below and we can see if this spot is right for you. We evaluate each project on a case-by-case basis, but here’s the basic requirements:

  • Use data from Metro Chicago Data, a compendium of datasets  from Cook County, the State of Illinois, and the City of Chicago.
  • Create a project that somehow makes lives better in Chicago.
  • Possess and exhibit a spirit of openness and collaboration, especially in working with government, communities, and nonprofits.
  • A willingness to add a “Hosted by Smart Chicago Collaborative” link in the footer, and a Google Analytics code snippet.

That’s it. We’ve got limited resources, but we’re here to help!
